This is called a portable bandmill. You can put wheels on it and it has hitch on the front. It does not use a circular blade like bigger mills, it uses a band similiar to a bandsaw. Philip is a Mennonite neighbor running the sawmill. Its okay to take a picture of them from behind (when they dont you have a cammera) otherwise they dont generally like their picture taken. :) We sawed the slabs off of the sides to square the log than started cutting out lumber. we cut all of the 2x6s and 2x8s for the headers and side nailer boards, that will hold all of the siding on, from our trees. We had to buy the rafters.
