New House in Progress

                        We are clearing some land on the edge of our woods. We hope to build a house there.

                             These views are what we will see out of the windows of our future house.

         This is a red oak tree that we cut down (It was right behind where the new house will be). We cut it into several logs and took them to a saw mill near here. He is going to saw them into boards and dry them in his kiln. Then he will run them through a shaper to turn them into hardwood flooring. This tree will be the floor in our living room.We have cut down (and are still cutting down) several trees that will be used in flooring, cabinets, on some of the walls, ceiling, trim, etc.....
