We are all done with our melons for the year but I never had a chance to put the pictures up. We usually use a wagon during the peak of the season. This was taken on a Sat evening. We had already picked one wagon load in the morning but decided to pick in the evening too since we don't pick on Sundays. We thought during the hot weather they would do better if we picked the ripest looking ones so they don't get too ripe by Monday morning. They turn ripe fast so we pick everyday except Sunday. We picked over 17,000 melons this year. I think we will try for more next year, it is our main source of income, unless we sell Barbosa.
