Here is Star and Sabella. Sabells has turned out to be the sweetest foal I've known. She is very gentle and loves attention. She will also be impressive when she is grown. She scored very well in the inspection as well and was awarded Premium Silver.
Just a few days after the inspection Star had a bad colic and died. The vet did an autopsy (at his expense) and said she had severe ulcers that perforated and ruptured her stomach. We had the vet out the night she coliced. He did what he could but her fate was sealed with the perforated ulcers. It was a difficult loss for me. She was my favorite horse and I loved her dearly. We had bred her to a Friesian stallion and there is a live foal guarentee so we will find another broodmare to continue breeding.
